Out story
Over the years, Ernesto bought part of the land and in 1964 thanks to the arrival of Pietro in the company it was possible to increase the areas used for cultivation.
Later it was Emanuele, who had always been convinced that the rice grown in the territory of Baraggia had superior qualities, enthusiastically adhered to the enhancement of the “D.O.P. rice of Baraggia Biellese and Vercellese”, European recognition obtained in 2007.
Emanuele continues the family tradition with great passion, that passion that makes Goio rice unique pf its kind.

The company today
Riso goio 1929 with the arrival of Edoardo, fourth generation of the family, looks to the future, starting from the conferral of the SQNPI (National Integrated Production Quality System) certification that determines the sustainable quality of the cultivated product, wanting to offer an increasingly healthy and low environmental impact product to our customers, going through the redevelopment of the owned farms and the installations of photovoltaic panels for the production and sale of sustainable energy
We aim to close the supply chain by creating our rice processing and packaging center within the company and thanks to the redevelopment of the farmhouses, to equip ourselves to welcome all those who intend to come visit the company by offering them a dedicated path. To date, Riso goio 1929 is delivered throughout Italy and in the world to the best restaurants and shops, trying to promote our product more and more to arrive at an increasingly large and solid distribution, from the best starred restaurants to the tables of private individuals who do not intend to deprive themselves of the quality in their meals.
